March 8th is around the corner and on that day we celebrate women.
There is an annual celebration that comes every year on March 8. It is a global celebration of women from all walks of life. On this day, March 8, all over the globe from Afghanistan, Armenia and China to Cuba, Russia, Vietnam and Zambia along with a myriad countries in between, women are celebrated. They are celebrated not only for their accomplishments but for who they are to all of us.
These celebrations consist of political rallies, business conferences, government activities, networking events and so much more. Since the inception of International Women’s Day, it has grown to become a global day of recognition and celebration across developed and developing countries alike. And, with the growth of IWD, we have had the honor to witness the development of female astronauts and prime ministers. We have observed an increase in female executives populating the boardroom and female athletes leveling the playing field. With the celebration of women we have been fortunate to see our sister, mother or daughter have both a career and family if she so chose. So on this day, March 8, remember the special women in your life whether they be your mother, wife, daughter or soldier assisting in the protection of our country. Acknowledge them with a fresh floral arrangement and allow their royal radiance to shine on their special day.
