The Radiant Orchid Centerpiece: So we recently sponsored the Columbus Bridal Show, at the Aladdin Shrine center at Easton Town Center here in Columbus. The big trend on The Knot, Wedding Wire, and other nations Wedding Websites and Magazines is the new color Radiant Orchid. We think, “whats the big fuss”, we’ve been designing with this color for years. But, “The Media” has spoken, and Radiant Orchid is in. So to highlight the trend of Radiant Orchid, we decided to create a focal point that Columbus Brides, Ohio Brides, or any bride visiting the show would be enamored by.
We started with the main focal point by building a beautiful faux crystal mirrored lampshade and accenting it with hybrid cymbidium orchids. Our table cloth for focal point was a beautiful fushia polka dot overlay with radiant orchid satin sash’s on the chairs. Mirrored charged plates and sterling silver flatware accented the remainder of the table with flickering candlelight all around.
